Upper East Side, NY
This prewar traditional apartment on New York’s Upper East Side is a product of years of careful design and curation, resulting in the creation of a contemporary pied-à-terre. Lane collected, curated and custom designed pieces herself. Each room design complements all the others, combining hand-crafted natural materials such as knotted linen, inlaid bone, carved wood and hand-cast nickel and silver with modern, post-industrial elements like smooth resin, faux fur and glass. The effect of this alchemy is a living space that strikes the perfect balance between comfort and elegance.
